Try one of the many sailing cruises aboard traditional sailing vessels and authentic windjammers, also known as "tall ships" in New England. Many of the tall ships, or windjammers, offer overnight trips and participate in various regional events, while others provide 2-hour day and sunset sails for guests. There are also other sailing tours on other types of sailing vessels in each New England state. These boats will usually pass by various lighthouses, although wind direction and weather is always a major factor in New England in determining the daily route.
